General summary

This is a professional supervisory position accountable for professional program planning and management for a treatment sub-unit or multiple residential locations. Develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates individual habilitation and/or treatment plans for clients with developmental disabilities. Supervises professional and/or direct care staff.

Knowledge, skills & abilities

In addition to those identified in the previous levels: Knowledge of the principles of supervision and training. Ability to assign, direct, and review the work of staff involved in the implementation of habilitation and behavior intervention programs.

Typical qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
