Real Estate/Office Space Management Specialist

General summary

This is a professional position accountable for negotiating and drafting real estate or property transactions for approval which include deeds, easements, contracts, and leases. At this level, employees assist with planning real estate strategies to manage the real estate portfolio and property space utilization. Employees are responsible for maintaining property records and managing conveyances.

Knowledge, skills & abilities

Knowledge of the requirements, regulations, and procedures governing state/federal government real estate transactions, leases, and contracts for services/commodities. Knowledge of procurement, budgeting, and project management. Skill in communicating and negotiating. Ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid vehicle operator’s license.

Typical qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
