Utility Regulatory Supervisor

General summary

This is a supervisory utility regulatory audit position accountable for providing direct or technical supervision to auditors conducting research; preparing technical, informative, or operational reports and papers; or working on projects of all sizes and utility types. Employee supervision includes hire recommendations, training, planning and assigning work, performance assessment, coaching, and progressive discipline. Supervision at this level also requires these employees to have the knowledge and skills to perform the work overseen.

Knowledge, skills & abilities

In addition to those identified in the previous levels: Knowledge of the principles and techniques of effective supervision and training. Ability to provide leadership and supervision to professional and technical staff.

Typical qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 5 or more years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
